A couple days ago I was surprised by this little guy (or lady?). I was taking pictures when Hubby came home for lunch and said "Get the shotgun" lol. Its so funny that such a big guy (he's 6'3") gets so freaked out by a praying mantis!

They are fascinating insects, but with a definite other-worldly appearance. If they were much bigger, I might have a similar response as your husband's. :)
