Blue Monday - Baby Pool
Last year we got Jimmy a wading pool. Its pretty cool as far as baby pools go because it has a built in slide. Jimmy loved it! Except for the fact that the water was super cold the first two times he went down it so now he won't go down because he is worried the water will be freezing again.... but he loves playing in the pool nonetheless. We go out nearly every day and he just plays and plays. He sends all his toys down the slide and he gets on top of the slide and just sits there and waves. Hopefully he will get brave and go down again, but until then he is content splashing and pouring and squirting his water toys.

Mellow Yellow Monday
My dad's side of the family plays a card game we call "Oh Nutts!" more popularly known by a different name that some may find inappropriate... ;-)
My maiden name contains the word "nutt" so my dad & step-mom or my grandparents (I forget which, silly pregnancy brain!) changed the name of the card game to match our name lol. We get together and play once a month in the cold weather months because my dad and step-mom sell Italian Ice at festivals over the summer and that is the off-season. Whoever wins gets to pick their favorite package of nuts as a prize and they also get to take home this lovely trophy my dad made.
Isn't it great? My brother found the bobble head on ebay and my dad made the base and had the engraved plate made.
I won once and got to bring the trophy home and then the last time we played before the Italian Ice season started, Jim came in second to a "guest" out-of-town player, so we got to bring the trophy home until the next game, which I think is in December (the trophy has to stay with family and be in Ohio)!! So Mr. Peanut gets to live with us for a while. Don't you wish you could have one too???

Find Me Friday - 6/11

Here is a peekaboo type Find Me photo. I was outside cleaning up from mulching and Luke kept peeking at me so I snapped a quick pic. He is such a cutie =)
If you are new this week, all you have to do is post a photo of whatever you want (within reason of course, keep it clean people! ;-) ) and it has to have some element of "peekaboo," "hiding" or "camouflage" in it. Think of one of those hidden pictures where you have to find the hidden images. Or a green frog blending into the green leaf he is sitting on. There are tons of options! Have fun with it!
If you would like to join in, please make sure to link back to my blog and use my button if you like. If I decide your image(s) is/are inappropriate, I have the right to delete your link. Other than that, have fun and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! Oh, and I plan on having weekly themes in the future, but if you don't have a photo that falls into the category, you can still participate. And I don't mind if you add this into another Friday blog carnival. As long as you remember to link to me, that is great! Ok, that's all for now, lets see those photos!
Here is a button for you to use if you would like to participate. Thanks!

Yard Art - Toad House
While I was visiting my friend Jan's photo blog, I discovered a new photo challenge called Yard Art on Thursdays. Click here to check it out or participate!
Here is one of my few yard/garden decorations (guess I will need to get some more to keep participating, I am ok with that!). A cute little toad house I bought when I was still living at my parents' house. No toads residing there specifically, but they do live in my flowerbeds!
